Ana has a Peruvian accent which is quite clear and easy to understand. She is also a patient and perceptive teacher. Our class consists of conversation followed by a review of our homework, then a quiz of some sort which includes our recent lessons. She will often email additional homework just so we don't get bored! Other than an immersion course, this has been a pleasurable way to progress. Using it outside of class is the key to success, and Ana has instilled confidence in our ability.

We came to Roberto after having been in a spanish program at a school where we we felt that we weren't learning. It was very disorganized and with 25 people in the class everyone was learning at a different pace. Roberto's approach to teaching is different and makes you feel that you are progressing very early on. He is very thorough in his teaching approach, he gives a test at your first class to quickly determine your level. From then on, he has a very practical hands-on approach to learning spanish. By giving you homework after every class and having your sessions be more of a dialogue it helps you grasp the language at a much quicker pace. Roberto is very patient and organized, he is always well prepared with assignments and makes sure you really understand the concepts before moving ahead to the next topics. He also makes learning spanish more fun with his games and creative exercises. Therefore, we would definitely recommend Roberto as your tutor.
